Internet Friendship Bracelet: Woven Interaction and Social Computing

This proposal is about Internet friendship bracelets. In this project I will:

• Call research subject on a digital cell phone (real-time interaction). [Research: How do I get their phone numbers?]
• Ask the person on the cell phone what is his/her favorite color(s).
• Hang up without explaining further [social engineering/hacking]
• Buy string for friendship bracelets on the "Web". Chose the colors based on digital cell phone research (see above)
• Make friendship bracelet [Research: How to make friendship bracelet? Check Google, a particularly useful search engine on the Internet]
• Get the address of the person who was called during the digital cell phone research and the address of their neighbor [Research: Google Maps??]. (Note: exploring privacy issues.)
• Ship the Internet Friendship Bracelet to the research subject's neighbor's house but put the name of the research subject on the first line.
• The neighbor (performer/spectator and sentinent agent) will receive the package (social computing) and must decide (privacy issues) whether to open it or give it to the research subject (tangible/embodied/haptic interactivity).
